The Space Station, Well Playground, Is Open
This was the first themed playground we spotted upon moving to Malmö however it has always been closed due to construction near the area. It was easy to spot with the large yellow sphere. It has finally reopened and we went to check it out. You can tell by the photos that it was also rather foggy or hazy that day too. That’s Mara and Campbell pedaling that piece of playground equipment. It’s like riding a bike that just goes in a circle.
The see saw always evokes such laughter from these two.
Campbell would get frightened sometimes because this disc which spins is high on one side and low on the other; still he didn’t want to get off.
I think this makes Malmö themed playground number 6 that we’ve visited. First is was fairytale, then the mad goose chase for the most highly-rated one, magical, only to find out that it had been vandalized so many times that it was torn down to be relocated somewhere else. It was in Oxie, but not sure where it’s being moved. Then we found the spiral playground, the forest playground, Jenn showed us where the spider one was and last weekend after crossfit, the kids got some exercise of their own, here at the space playground. 14 more to find and explore.
